we piled into a couple of cars and headed straight for some drive through starbucks.
yeah, we know how to start off a journey to water world right.
car #1
no pics from car #2 because, well, i wasn't in there.
walking in
no more pics. i was too scared that it would get wet or i would leave it somewhere or it would get stolen, so it just stayed in my locker.
and here's some documentation so that avery can look back and see how her first experience with Water World really was.
avery liked
-playing in the water at Thunder Bay
-going down the ramp at Calypso Cove
-killing the lady bugs that some girl was collecting in her goggles
-watching Eli and Micah go down the slides at Calypso Cove over and over and over
-being held and carried EVERYWHERE we went
-playing with Ellen's towel
-going down the "water stairs" at Wally World
-eating dippin dots with aunt Ellen
avery tolerated
-letting mommy take her down the kiddie slides at Calypso Cove
-"riding" the waves at Thunder Bay
-walking through the lazy river at Big Top
avery DID NOT like
-going down the river rapids at river county
-sitting in a tube on the lazy river at Big Top
-sitting down for lunch (15 min cry session people)
at the end of the day aunt ellen took over avery duty so that i could ride a couple rides with Laura and her kids.
it was a good day. not great. but good.
we'll try again next year.
(oh and during the river rapid ride, avery's little head slammed into my eye)

Glad you all had a nice time! You'll have to fill me in on the details when we go to the zoo. I'm still planning on going for my bday but staying the night up there and then going to Ocean's Journey the next day...that's my plan anyways!
