a day in the life

i loved wednesday august 5th. what a great day it was. we had no where to be. no play dates, no grocery shopping. just me and the girls hanging out, reading stacks of books, making houses with playdoh and building towers with blocks.

it was fun. man do i enjoy avery SO much more when i focus on her, when there isn't so many places to go and so many people to see.

i'm working on something that will hopefully ensure that we get more of these days at home, just us.



and then when daddy got home, i whisked ashton up to the fowler house for a girls night. micah, ashton and i headed to the store for some popcorn and candy and then we settled in their theatre room for some Bride Wars. so sad that i made it home with NO pictures of Sydney.





sitting there with Laura and her two girls, eating popcorn and laughing at Kate Hudson....made me so excited to watch chick flicks with MY girls one day.....
