my friend jess

-she called me mandrea more than pretty much anyone during our middleschool/highschool days
-we went to mexico to build a house when we were sophmores
-the girl saved HUNDREDS of dried roses petals...i am not kidding.....HUNDREDS
-we went to california to ride horses on the beach and much more when we were juniors
-we ate party pizzas and guacomole ALL OF THE TIME
-we had code names for boys
-she went on a date with dave before he was my boyfriend
-she made me take shots of espresso with her
-she came to my soccer games
-i came to her basketball games
-i was her maid of honor
-she was my maid of honor
-i got to see sweet gavin come into this world

we never see each other
we never talk

but i still love her so much....she's like my sister.

and we got to see her, nate and gavin last night. it was fun. i didn't take near enough pictures and most of them were blurry and i took none of me and jess. oops.

it's wierd to get together with old friends. it sort of time warps you back to your awkward teenage years and then to look over see your kids playing together? wierd.
