the eve of the eve

we've been making the trek to grandma and grandpa's house every day. tonight we're sleeping here. everyone's in bed....dave and i are clicking away on our computers, the twinkling lights on the tree and the warm fire are very nice company.

here's dinner tonight. it's blurry, but check out the 4 highchairs. wow. grandma is super prepared.


and ashton's hanging in there as always. she got a little tired during dinner though.



and ed's been taking the girls on "grandpa dates" nearly every day.



can you see how proud she is to be going with the "big" girls? she LOVES all of this cousin fun.











and there's a BIG difference between having 2 kids and having 5 kids.
and my sis-in-law is way cool.
and my in-laws are generous and very good at keeping us all fed and making sure there are clean dishes for us to eat on.
and chloe cuddled with me on a big comfy chair.
and kady joy prays the sweetest prayers you've ever heard.

and tomorrow is christmas eve.
