(husband (and ellen and laura) coordinated a little bday surprise. i had no idea what was happening or who was picking me up, i just knew i was supposed to be ready at 7:15---melting pot plus close friends of mine who NEVER hang with each other were all around the same table for the evening.....amazing.)
