we went here two days while we were down in missouri. LOVED it. the girls had so much fun. the setting is so neat. the food is great. an awesome family amusement park. you should totally go.
taking a train ride
(can't even tell ya'll how helpful my mom and dad were. they got an A+ in grandparenting on this vacation for sure)
the "froggy" ride. i love that genuine in-the-moment smile.
milking bessie
doing the hi-low silo with ben.
he pulled them up the side of this "silo"
then he would let go at the top and they'd fall down. she loved it :)
the carnival swings with daddy
and the jewel of both days was the ball palace. it was this huge place. probably 5 stories high....full of foam balls. you could vacuum up the balls. you could put them in these guns and shoot the balls. it was so fun and so nice and cool in there.....we all loved it.
avery was very serious in the ball room. she would gather up as many balls as she could carry
and carefully walk over to these vertical conveyor belt things
she would load her balls on the belt
and then crank them up to the next level. it was hilarious to watch. she did it over and over again. no smiles, just serious furrowed brow-ness. awesome
and here is sweet ash at the end of the day on our way out of the park
next time we're at silver dollar city, we'll have a 5, 3 and 1 year old.
can't wait. :)
