nap love

the new "nap plan" has gone fabulously.

i feel tearfully thankful. as we speak, ash has been asleep for close to 2 hours and aves has been asleep for close to an hour and a half.

i'm letting avery pick out a nap basket at the beginning of every week. she gets to pick a few books, a few blankets, a few stuffed animals, etc. to go into her nap basket each week. then at nap time she gets to have her nap basket while listening to a story on cd on our bed.

after i get aves all set up for "nap basket" time, i take ash into their room, cuddle and rock and sing to her and have some precious one on one time with her and then put her in her bed. she's been falling asleep almost instantly when avery is not in there :)

when avery's 30 minute nap basket timer goes off, i take her quietly in their room and put her in her bed. she's not aloud to make any noise and she has to fall asleep before she can get up.

ahhhhh. they both are finally getting good naps in the same room. and i LOVE it, because i get a little one on one time with each beauty right before naps. precious and definitely something i was missing.
