not being pregnant is SO awesome

oh how i love these little girls.

i've definitely caught my usual "it's fall so let's have a schedule" bug. i've been so ready for energy and motivation to get our life "in order" and i finally have it now that ian is outside of me :) isn't it amazing the way you have more energy when you're not pregnant even though you're getting less sleep? crazy!

i've been working on preschool stuff for avery and i'm very excited to official start in a couple of weeks. (ashton will even get in on some of the stuff!)
i think the girls can sense my excitement and energy level too...we've been having so much fun together.

and this woman...my mother....she is just amazing. i am so very thankful for her and for the role she plays in my life and in my kid's lives. she is so helpful, such a servant and i love how much she loves us!

and here's 2 week old ian....he's so funny how he cocks he's head back and to the side like this when he falls asleep. just like he was during labor....

merrie came again today. i just love her. ian weighed 9 pounds and 10 ounces.

and she told me i should have 5 more kids. hmmmmm.

PS. I check your blog several times a day cause I love to see my beautiful nieces and nephew but I'm HORRIBLE at commenting. I'm going to try to do better!

By the way - I do love you all so much! I am very thankful that I was able to retire when I did. I never knew having grandchildren was so awesome. I can't get enough. Dad and I are so proud of you and David. You are wonderful parents and you have together produced three really gorgeous, wonderful children. I love being their grandma!
LOVE YOU!!
