pumpkins and preschool

avery's last preschool project on wednesday was to help me make a pumpkin pie from a real pumpkin!


i've never baked or made anything from a real pumpkin before and it was actually pretty easy.


we made mini pies and roasted pumpkin seeds






that last activity earned avery the sticker that filled up her whole chart! i can't believe we have completed 5 weeks of preschool! hooray!


this next week don and erin are in town :) and then we'll be doing all things christmas in december.

so i think we'll start our official preschool back up in january.


her reward for filling up her whole chart was going to red robin.




they have these little computer game things on every table now.....


i got the blta croissant and hung out with this little man.
