i read them both over and over and felt my heart get a little lighter.
what i'm feeling is not unusual. this is hard. it's supposed to be.
and.
it's worth it.
p.s. i wish i had more confidence in my decisions regarding the aves. i'm praying and processing this all the time. like, maybe it's good that i'm not confident because that brings me to my knees in front of Him...but then i think, if i were more connected to Him, then i would feel confident in the way He is leading me to discipline her...ugh...

It is so much easier for me to give you advice than it is for me to do. So, girl, I am right there with you and I will remember my advice as I fight the same battles for the little hearts in my house.
Love you! Call me if you need to. Or, maybe we should just put Avery, Isaiah, and Laila in a room together and let them duke it out on each other.
Your P.S. is right on target. Being on our knees in this calling is the ONLY way to go.

totally looked at their comments. seems like we are in a similar season with parenting. loved their thoughts and encouragement. it does feel constant though, doesn't it?! so thankful that He does give wisdom generously to those that ask. your kiddos are super blessed that they have a mama that is aware of her need for Him and is on her knees. you are doing awesome. there is a phrase people here use, "jia you." it means keep going. so... jia you friend!
