can't believe we've been doing this for 5 years.
the oldest two were 8 years old when we began this infamous christmastime tradition.
now they're 13.
ellen and i, along with eight beautiful, growing girls.
doing the "can can" outside of fargos
the player piano
ellen bought us a carrot cake at fargos to bring with us to starbucks
ginger bread houses at the broadmoor
these two looked so old chattin it up and sipping on their starbucks
ellen and her girls. feels so good to type that. amazed that they could be with us this year.
and this is my most favorite part. the girls shared something they wanted to give to God this year. and then we split into twos and prayed for each other. what beautiful hearts they have.
and we ended our time dancin it up in the ballroom. silly, silly girls. stash and syd promise to memorize the dance from pride and prejudice for next year. we'll see.
i tell anastasha and sydney (the two oldest) that one day they'll grow to old for our christmas date....but they assure me that could never happen.
i sure hope they're right.
