the rest of christmas day

i can't believe i only took three pictures over at my parents house on christmas day. it makes me sad that i didn't get any group shots of all of the family we had piled down in my parents basement.

but i did get a picture of ian's new hat from kayla and luis


and ashton's rocking horse from grandma and grandpa


and avery's bouncy horse from grandma and grandpa. that thing "neighs" every time it moves. sweet.


we opened so many presents, we burned lots of logs in the fire, we prayed together for haiti (oh and by the way...in the end we were actually able to buy 15 stoves!! you can still buy coal until january 12th....)

random facts about christmas day

-ian likes ben to hold him
-the girls slept for like 3 hours that afternoon at my parents!!
-we watched inception while they napped
-aunt sharon snored while we watched inception
-we played taboo and avery was actually playing with us! hysterical!
-grandma makes good pie
-everyone wanted to shoot the bouncy horse by the end of the day
-ashton eats playdoh
