there was an indoor education area for kids and we were entertained for close to an hour in there.
ian found a turtle
and there was an old bath tub set up as a home for two toads.
i couldn't believe how much avery loved those things. she was holding 'em two at a time, as if they weren't slimy and dirty and hopping and alive. i was watching her and she was asking me to hold one and i just couldn't do it.
libby lou would have been proud of these two.
ashton was a little more reserved when it came to this frog holding business.

and this morning i had some time to crawl through our crawl space in search of old highschool and college paraphernailia. i sat sprawled out on our red rug and took pictures of old pictures. which was the first step in writing who i am #4. i will write it. i will.
