november recap

i finally let her paint our pumpkins

zoo! in november!  record highs around here. 

and we got a close up of a gorgeous lion.

normally they just sleep, so this was a treat!

big sis helps little sis with her flashcards.

practicing her all about spelling skillz. 

when it gets dark and everyone is groggy and up from their naps, i usually let them pick something to watch while i make dinner.  ashton almost always chooses to help me instead.  

lovie cooks with us too. 

we got a holiday box with the coupon code from the macs!

and we busted out our snowman mugs for some apple cider!

we made apple pie playdough. (i couldn't find the actual recipe we used, but this looks similar, ours called for like 1/4 cup of apple juice too)  

the stuff smells amazing. 

we've put regular school on hold this week and done some fun thanksgiving stuff.

tomorrow i'm busting out the christmas decor and playing michael w. smith christmastime all morning long.

we'll be at dave's parents house on thanksgiving, with a slew of aunts, uncles and cousins.  really wish the harms clan would be there too. 

we've been informed that they've been invited to a goat feast.  i guess that's what happens when you're in ghana, africa for thanksgiving.
