And then she was one.....

It happened, just like that. One minute I had a baby and the next I had a one year old. Doesn't really seem possible, but I guess that is the nature of "mommyhood".....nothing about it seems possible. Labor...not possible. Functioning on no sleep....not possible. And oh the love I feel for this little girl.....not possible. But somehow it all falls into place and somehow it all is very, very possible. Happy Birthday precious Avery.




It was a beautiful day for Avery's Lady Bug Barbeque. My good friend Elaina made a killer Lady Bug cake, super cute and super yummy. We grilled brats and played horseshoes, the kids fed the ducks and had water gun fights. It was a great way to kick off the summer and Avery's second year of life.
