Red plus Yellow

So we just got back from the Orange Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. It's put on by Reggie Joiner's "ReThink Group". High school pastors, middle school pastors and children's pastors come together for a handful of days to re-charge, re-fresh and "ReThink" the way we do ministry in our local church. The experience is powerful to say the least. "Orange" gets it's name from the concept of bringing parents unconditional love (red) and the church's light of Christ (yellow) together....red plus yellow makes orange. The Orange effect happens when churches use their resources to leverage the parents influence.....a sort of tag team mentality. What's the best way to impact a child's heart? Impact their family....
