Hall out the Holly

Avery and I have spent a good portion of our day "decking the halls" of our home. Setting out candles, mini light up Christmas trees and lots of snow men.

I can't really explain what this time of year does to my soul. There is so much joy to be found when we stop for a minute and think about what all the gift giving, and decorating, and caroling all come down to....the relationship we can have with Jesus..... the joy He gives us, the peace He brings and the love that He so generously lavishes on us. And when that truth truly resonates in your spirit....everything about this season is magical.
