so, everyone should have to do a monologue in front of a handful of their good friends.
it's exhilarating.
it's nerve racking.
it's humbling.
a good/wierd experience for all i think.
this morning was filled with more bizarro moments in the world of children's ministry and vanguard church.
i show up this morning to teach large group as a volunteer. (that was FUN and sort of wierd to not be running around making sure everyone was okay)
after church we had our first christmas production meeting. last year i led the meeting. this year i lined up nervously with everyone else and did my rendition of "twas the night before christmas" in front of some dear friends who are leading the production this year.
i love christmas.
i love kiddos.
i love a bunch of people on stage together providing an "experience" for an audience. especially an experience that points people to Jesus.
home now.
trying to decompress from a crazy morning.
side note: worship was AMAZING this morning. full of HOPE and excitement. there was a choir and a GREAT drummer :) i really felt like vanguard worshiped TOGETHER this morning. LOVE my church.
