i got the recipe before we left and i made a batch yesterday.
i couldn't believe that it actually tasted almost exactly like grandma and grandpas! i canned it and sealed it and boiled the pint jars and everything. i wish there was a way to know if it all worked the way it was supposed to. i'm just nervous that they'll spoil or something.
we'll see...they sure look cool sitting up there in my pantry (next to the spaghetti sauce :))

Okay, so are you gonna share the recipe or just leave us all with our mouths watering? Please don't say it is a family secret recipe that you can't share!! Can you also teach me how to can?
