museum

(didn't mean for all of these pics to be THIS BIG, but they are and i'm too lazy to change them)

have you ever been somewhere that's supposed to be fun (with your kids and your friend and your friends kids) and it just isn't fun. you just want to go home and nothing is going right and the kids are in melt down mode and you decide it would just be better if you NEVER left the house again?

well yesterday was the exact opposite of that. heidi, jack and lucy white joined me, avery and ashton (in laura fowlers van) on an adventure up to the chilren's museum in denver.

we had a BALL.

from the starbucks and convo on the way up
to our cute, chatty, smiley babies,
to our friendly, curious, well behaved toddlers

the day was close to perfect :)

our girls LOVE each other

the museum is packed with lots of cool stuff.

pretty sure this was avery's favorite part of the museum. (pushing the cart and throwing ANYTHING she wanted inside without getting in trouble)

there was this area where you could follow instructions and build something, which was WAY over these two's heads but they figured out their own little game. they were ADORABLE trying to fill up this jar with screws. they worked together SO well for quite awhile.

we were there for almost 3 hours (ashton and lucy were CHAMPS). we had fun and stayed busy the WHOLE time and we still didn't do it all. i guess we have to go back. :)

I love the pictures! I can't wait to get my hands on them for myself! I'm pretty sure Lucy and Ashton will make the stairway wall. =) What a fun, sweet memory to have together. Love you.
