sitting at my aunt and uncles dining room table while the kiddos sleep in their respective pack n plays. we made the trek out to topeka, kansas yesterday so we could attend Kayla's very first wedding shower! after 10.5 hours, 3 stops and 5 movies we arrived safe and sound at the Rotz household. pretty sure everyone was a bit surprised watching me drag in pack n plays and bags and blankets and sound machines...it takes a village people. ian did surprisingly well last night (he's been fighting sleeping anywhere but his bed recently so i was a bit worried), and the girls did great too.
we're having a fun day celebrating kayla and luis's upcoming wedding. pizza and hot tub tonight. 10 hours in the car again tomorrow.
