there was a narwhal on avery's "Nn" workpage.

and then we busted out our animal train puzzle and we were both so excited to see the animal they chose for the "Nn" train.

all aboard the animal train. after each added letter, avery would walk across the train singing the alphabet song. ashton followed her nearly every time chanting "d's" and "b's".
