here's a little recap about what's going on today.
the adventure project is teaming with water for people to launch a new water system in the Kyenjojo district of Uganda. this system includes: a well for at least 250 people in a village, a job for a caretaker to collect and sell water and a trained mechanic nearby. the cost to implement a water system like this is, you guessed it, five thousand dollars.
this type of system has never been done in africa before, if it works in uganda, it can be replicated across the entire continent.
the adventure project is raising money to install 30 of these super well systems in uganda. but after we close out the raffle, i'm pretty sure they'll just need the funds for 29 ;)
it's been an incredible 2 weeks, we are still $1,270 dollars shy of our goal, so feel free to pass on all of the information about this water system and our raffle to anyone you think may want to join us!
and just in case you haven't joined us yet or you were dying to bid on something else, i've got some gems to add to the raffle on this oh so special day!

whenever we work hard, fight long, and shout loud for things to be the way they soon will be, for things to be as they were intended to be, we are actually providing glimpses of Heaven.
i can't imagine fighting for anything greater.
