skiing and new raffle items

it had been years since amanda and i had skiied.  

years.

that's so very sad but just the reality of the season of life we are in.

logan and amanda had the crazy idea to fly into denver on sunday, ski with us on monday and fly back home today.  we were fully on board with this plan and had a fantastic 48 hours with these old friends.

this picture was right before we followed the guys over a ridge and down into a double diamond bowl.

when i looked down at the straight down mogul hill, i thought i might throw up or die, but we made it down just like we did dozens of other times back in college.

we kinda of hated the guys for talking us into it, but were also kinda of proud of ourselves.

this was on the way back up the lift, the picture doesn't do it justice.

we are a bit sore, very tired and experiencing some post vaca blues, but are so very thankful for our time with the haags.  they are lifetime friends for sure.
