she is a deep thinker, this one. in crowds she is overwhelmed and quiet and shy. often i will find her in her own little world, thinking, pretending, dreaming.
today we were having a riveting discussion about heaven over scrambled eggs and she says with eyes dancing and hands flailing about...
"mommy, in heaven, everything you are looking for will be right in front of you!"
indeed, sweet one, yes indeed.
and then, i have to put this here so i won't forget, the kids were discussing whether or not satan was still alive, and ashton says, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world...
"guys, if satan was dead, we would be kind to each other!"
can't wait to see what God does with ashton kate.
