Houle House: get a load of this

if you happened to be at vanguard church this morning just before noon, you know exactly why this week is such a treasure to me.

these. kids. worship.

and to get to be a part of it is thrilling. i mean, geez, standing on this stage and watching a sea of kiddos jump up and down shouting "our God is greater"? there just isn't anything quite like it.

my fourth and fifth grade worship team has been incredible. they've work hard and long to know these songs and there motions by heart so that this week is all about worship. i told them over and over and over again, the better we know these songs, the easier it will be for us to worship. we lead worship best when we ourselves are worshiping.

and they get it. they totally get it. i'm so proud of them. to lead right alongside grace, eileen, devon, eli, connor, maddie, macie and christianna is such a profound joy.

and guess who loves vbb this year? last year she had a hard time getting into it, but this year she acts like a vbb pro.

she is surrounded by her friends so that helps a lot.

and i am in love with this picture. avery loves that aunt ellen and aunt laura are "captain regular" and "ordinary girl"

my kids have done amazing so far. they've been real troopers. we (try to) get there early and we stay late. both ashton and ian are in their little "classes" for 4 hours. that's a lot for both of them, but God has His hand on them, because both days have gone so, so well.
