a favorite photo

the kids and i had quite the adventure this summer.  an amazing week and a half with dave's family at table rock lake and great wolf lodge (omg. that place!?!) and an unexpected week with my family back down at the lake.  what a blessing to be able to GO and DO and just BE with my kids this summer.  they are a riot.

and as fun as it was to be away from home and routine and schedules, my heart is longing for all three again.  i'm relishing the blessing of an ordinary day.

this picture was taken on our very last night in missouri at branson landing in front of the water/fire show.  i love it so very much.  i'm so glad we stopped to snap a few pictures.
